1. Title: Guardian
By: [Digital Fortress]

Her friends turned their backs,
Ignored her from then on.
She couldn't see why they would,
What was going on?

Her life had been this way before,
Before she moved away.
She could clearly remember the torture,
Of that sad, fateful day.

'Why am I so different?
Why does everyone hate?'
Oh I'm sorry, little girl,
But it is only just your fate.

Then one day she hardened,
She stood up for herself.
Now she's more than a broken doll,
Sitting on the shelf.

She faces life each day,
Never wavering from her course.
She puts behind her, that fateful day,
And her heart is free of remorse.

Now there's a legend,
A rumer, they speak.
Of a strong willed woman,
Who looks out for the weak.

2. Title: Childhood Lost
(W.i.p)
[Cascading water lillies]

Maya, the demon slayer;
Stands proud afore,
Of ledgend and folklore.

Beware! This child, who sleeps;
The day away, not night,
So that she may fight.

Those who may stand;
Against the female child,
Stronger than beast or man.

So she calls out to the wolf;
As she strives for truth,
Amongst the dead and wounded.

Dare she fight, another day?
Should she be the prayer,
The people need her to answer?

A child's heart strong as beast;
As the sun rises in the east,
She throws down her sword.

In search of the truth;
Honesty and Intergrity,
She is searching.

For something more;
The childhood of days gone by,
The childhood lost.

That she once knew;
To be innocent,and true,
That is her only comfort.

A childhood lost;
A womanhood gained,
Always now, a lifetime of pain.

3. Title: Love Recollected/For Jenny
By:[The real life Bella Swan]
I remember . . .
Loving arms that huged me
In times of great need
A soft voice that comforted me
When the pain wouldn't go away
Gentle Fingers that reached for tissues
When the tears flowed

I remember . . .
A bright smile
A beautiful face
A brilliant mind
A friendly aura
A kind soul
A loving spirt

I remember . . .
A best friend
A sister
A care taker
But most of all . . .
I remember . . .
Someone that loved me

4. Title:Le Ange De Terre
By: [Panda-monium]

There once was a woman, though few knew her name.
And though she was an angel on earth, her spirit they never will proclaim.
She lived each day for others, and no one understood,
What motivated her to do all she could.
Some said it was her heart of gold,
others decreed a love uncontrolled.
Some said it was her iron will,
Yet others stated it was a prophecy to fulfill.
No one ever knew the reason’s she lit our lives with hope,
All that can be said now, is how she crawled with us up that slope.
She never failed a single time to bring a smile,
And somehow she always made you feel worthwhile.
She was a woman like no other; strong and free.
But that she was an angel we all must agree.

5. title:oppression
[Miss Demeanours]
what i see,
forever memory.
What i do,
and how i lie
is this part of me?
i must decide.
For i am me,
and only i can see,
the real me.

Once i loved,
and then i lost,
for a moment happy,
at what cost?
i must distrust,
or i'm forever lost.

Once i tried,
but then i failed,
chased my tail,
once more its time,
to set sail
Far far away from here,
its whats good for me.
Never more to be near,
to the life, created by fear.

6. title:Abuse

Down comes the fist
Here come the bruise
All the hurt and anger
Pain and abuse
LIfe is not worth living
But still u live
Ur too strong
to jus give in
Night after night
tear after tear
u cry in confession
release all your fears
Next time it happens
u stand up to him
Hes just mortal dont let him win
Stand up for yourself
Ur a women with rights
Dont be let yourself be beaten
Dont give up without a fight
by [*CosmicGirl]

7. Title: The
[Plum Hime]

"The silence was deafening"
Said the cliche
And eyes did seem to say more than the mouth
When the frail girl fell to the floor

A victim of her own beliefs
She believed
In another world
Of magic where she could move

Her life was bound to the metal
A chair of chaining cruelty
Her limbs rendered lifeless, it seemed.
But in her head she knew.

They laughed at her, "She's crazy!"
But never once did she say a thing
To those that tormented her
And she never once helped herself

Until one day the girl in the back
Disgusted with what she assumed was stupidity
Her temper lost, and anger unwithheld.
Threw the girl to the floor.

"A fool," she cried, "There are no fairies!"
"There is no magic! You can't walk, and never will!"
The frail girl looked up, and began to sob.
Her hopes dashed like so much wreckage,
Like a ship after the tempest.

Then, from no where, the quiet girl
Who no one noticed, rose from her seat.
Covering the frail girl in her arms,
Whispering, "I believe, too"

And in that moment, the frail girl looked
At her protector and saw the girl
With hair shining like gold
And eyes like emerald

Whose soul shone with unearthly light
And saw the artificial movements from her legs,
A victim of another drunk, and the one, out
Of all those who could run,
and instead chose to laugh on the outside
(disgust with themselves inside.)

Would be the one to restore the girls hope
And belief in that world where,
One day,
She would dance, too.

8. Title: Scheherazade
[Ellington]

I have traveled far from my room
in the tales of merchants, sailors - all those with mouths to speak
I have been across the ocean on the backs of great rocs, who
dip and dive among the crags
to China, where djinns live out their sentences
in tarnished lamps
and I have followed Ali Baba into the secret cave
so was I saved
so will I save you, my love
Nightly I will lead you from your darkness
and hand in hand I will show you man lands,
many lives, and many wondrous things
One thousand and one tales we shall wander through
One thousand and one nights I will stay with you
until we are safely home
and I will have a new story;
of a girl who saved a Sultan and herself

9. Title: Cry
[silverwolf8868]

i don't want to not one bit
you left me here to cry
did you really leave me
i guess you must have
we've both been so busy
you left me here to cry
now i'm here with nothing
but a tear and
the memory of you what am i to do
you left me here to cry

10. Title: Only I know
[Flisky]

Always been lonely
Never been free
Always misunderstood
Never allowed to be me
Cannot fight it
Want it to end
Crashing waves
Driving wind

It’s harder than you think
Harder than you know
Every yelled insult
Every glancing blow
Even when I tried
I was never good enough
How do you live
With someone you don’t trust

Leaving it behind
Wasn’t easy on them
Because now they have nothing
Standing before him
Protection is hard to find
When it’s from fate
When guilt drives you
You’ll find it too late

No one stood up
No one wanted to believe
No one could change
What they wouldn’t see
Empty promises
Left behind
How can I help them
With peace I can’t find

If you heard this
What would you think
That the writer is crazy
And all this is fake
This is all real
Now said out loud
Can you believe
In something only I know?

11. Title: Imagine
Written By: [Tranquil Insanity]

An infant crying in a silent room
a room filled with undeniable gloom
A babe she is at the passing
Of her one and only mother

Silently staring at the box before her
Tears coursing down her pale face
Deep inside admitting to the truth
That her child had passed away

Silently trying to stay strong
Always there when something went wrong
Ready to protect the ones she loves
Casting away fears and horrible pain

Silently hiding all her turmoil
Keeping it locked away
One day she brakes down
from the wieght of it all
As her beloved turns away

Pushing ahead for the sake
Of her daughter
Showing a face of courage and strength
Keeping the laughter and the joy
Imagine yourself in her place

What would you do
Could you be as strong as her
Could you carry on as she does
Could you bare the weight
Of the world falling on you?

She held me safe, and caried on
And now in my opinion she is quite strong
She is my mother I love her to death
I just wish I could help her forget.

12. Title: Something I Lack
[RavageAngel]

Being treated this way by you is like a dagger in the heart,
a bullet to the brain,
There's too much conflict,
I think I must be insaine.
But I've always been there for you,
Right there by your side,
to comfort and calm you,
on me you've always relied.
I've helped and guided you,
through many troubles and many pains,
but I'm afraid this one I have caused you,
something of which I am ashamed.
But you haven't stopped to think of me twice,
when I'm in trouble,
or when no one's on my side.
I sit in the dark,
while on the inside I cry.
I'm sorry for the wrong I have done you,
for the actions I can't take back,
but when you only think of yourself,
pity is something I lack.

14. The Lady
[Noxme]

Her heart is forever pure,
For all the things she has endured.
The core of her loyal is vast,
But she can close the doors of the past.

She has been chosen,
And her grip can never be broken.
Though many believe her life is forsaken,
And that her soul has been taken.

She lives the life she owns,
With never any complaints or groans.
Death is something she has mastered,
And the edges of that page are tattered.

She has given life and has taken it away,
But people know when to keep at bay.
Courage she owns and shows,
She is the Lady of the Snows.

15. Title: She's not strong alone
Written by [What is love?]

She is the strongest person I know
Stronger than anybody else
No one can hadle problems like her
No one cares as much as her
But she can't be strong alone
She needs someone
She needs an angel
She needs someone to put their arms around her
And hold her close when she crys
She needs someone to tell her
Everything's gonna be just fine
She needs someone who loves her
And to tell her they do
She needs to know she's not alone
She needs to feel someone close to her
To know they will be there when she needs them
And she needs someone to need her
When she finds that someone
Nothing in the world will be able to break her.

16: Gridavier
by:[Captain Rachel Black]

Long ago in Caverns deep
And Halls made out of stone
The Halkarain
Themselves did speak
Of a maiden
Whose name
In darkness shone

Her soul was strong
And heart was pure

Yet darkness dwelt
Upon her song
No light could ever cure

She will prove brave
And strong of heart
Yet death and grave
Would haunt
Her part

In this tale
Soon to come
Her death would
Sound like a drum
Upon the lives of men

Gridavier, Winter Rose

17. Once Was
by [Kiki the Witch]

By definition, my name has two meanings.
In Latin, 'True'; in Slavic 'Faith'.
I don't know what my last name means.
Whatever it represented was lost in a space/time tear between 1645 and the Now.
Forever wrent asunder, they lie far apart
Weeping in the proverbial trench
Created by technology.
Maybe it once was something beautiful,
Something lyrical, and pleasing to all who heard its flowery syllables spoken in the quiet of an evening ball.
Maybe it was a valiant knight, on charging steed,
To battlefields drawn.
Perhaps it once meant something calming
That when spoken quieted the fears of all humanity.
Perhaps it was the cause of paranoia,
Heard only in the screaming call of disaster sirens.
But now it gains new life, in the voice of a woman.
It whispers through me
'Never be too afraid to take a chance.
Live for Now, rather than dwell on the graves of past grudges, breathing deep the ashes of dead opportunity.
Be kind to all those you meet, and those you don't.
Stand defiant in the face of tragedy.
BE peace, rather than represent it.
Do this, and to all who look upon your radiant strength,
You will impart a lasting fortitude.'
I will live to the song it sings, be a formidable enemy to desolation.

18. She Walks by [Valient Tragedies]

Through time of trouble and despair,
She walks, she walks,
Through never ending scowls of hate,
She walks, she walks.
Beauty in her mind,
Strength in her heart,
Wisdom in her words,
She walks, she walks.
She raises her child,
With love and pride,
Through good and bad,
She walks, she walks.
She endures her man,
Throughout the bloody fits
And broken wrists,
She walks, she walks.
Through the shelter and homes,
From the broken dreams of childhood,
With hunger and sadness,
She walks, she walks.
The visits in Jail,
She walked, she walked.
Seeing him on the other side,
She walked, she walked.
Knowing she was going to die,
She walked, she walked,
And he was the killer,
Made it only sweeter,
That she was free to
Walk, she was free to walk.

19.Title:A strong women by:
[lil_princess]
Have You Ever Seen The Real Me?
When You Look At Me, What Do You See?
Do You See A Strong Woman?
Or A Weak Woman Because I'm Not Like You?
Do You Hear What I Say?
Or Do You Turn Your Ear The Other Way?
I AM A women!
I AM STRONG! I AM PROUD!
I HAVE MY OWN OPINIONS!
I Cover Myself Because I Respect Myself.
I Lower My Gaze Because I'm Modest.
I Believe In Myself.
Do You?

20.Title:The woman in the ordinary by:[lil_princess]
The woman in the ordinary

The woman in the ordinary pudgy downcast girl

is crouching with eyes and muscles clenched.

Round and pebble smooth she effaces herself

under ripples of conversation and debate.

The woman in the block of ivory soap

has massive thighs that neigh,

great breasts that blare and strong arms that trumpet.

The woman of the golden fleece

laughs uproariously from the belly

inside the girl who imitates

a Christmas card virgin with glued hands,

who fishes for herself in other's eyes,

who stoops and creeps to make herself smaller.

In her bottled up is a woman peppery as curry,

a yam of a woman of butter and brass,

compounded of acid and sweet like a pineapple,

like a handgrenade set to explode,

like goldenrod ready to bloom.

21. Title: Only women bleed
[Cookieholic]

Nobody can see how you hurt
How you struggle day by day
But there is pain in your eyes
Pain of years of torment
Pain of the tears that fall
But you won't let it show
You won't give in
You won't give up
You hold your head up high and smile
The world is your oyster
Not even they can take that from you

22.Prey
[Astraea]

You think you've caught me, but you haven't.
Love can bind, but not imprison
But hunter may become hunted:
careful! I bite.
Flesh can be a comfort.
And Used.
The used learn how: I should know.
So set you snares and your pretty tricks.
I admit, I snatch at ribbons and shiny things.
You taught me false promises,
where the heart is no longer invovled.
You surgically removed mine.
Broken rib, cracked sternum
Maybe it was I who peeled back my muscle,
My walls. Found the scalpel in my hand.
But I sewed it up when you were gone.
hapazard, loose stiches.
And when you came back, I pretended to let you in.
Nothing though, but a cold, empty cavern, heart,
gone
it beats above me, a red balloon on a string.
Such a severed link, my universe floating above me.
Safe from you. My skin like pressed linen, hiding scars underneath.
There is no way to censor pain.
Sometimes my mind is feeble and my mouth a bucket from which my words overflow. I am not big enough to contain them.

Judging underway...please be patient.
